I, would like to express my sincere gratitude towards the Almighty, The School Management, our Principal and the teachers for giving me the opportunity to be the School Head Boy of Msgr. Mubiligi
Catholic Technical Secondary School.
Today, whatever I am or rather wherever I stand, I dedicate my success journey to my Alma Mater. Msgr. Mubiligi Catholic TSS; is not just a school it’s an emotion to each one of us. Our school is home of knowledge, which is a matter of pride for us. As we all know school is the second home of the young minds where they spent few hours daily with their fellow mates and learn under the guidance of the teachers, it’s our parents’ dream that their children have access to the best quality education for the personal and professional growth.
Believe me, Msgr Mubiligi Catholic TSS is that perfect place where the holistic development of each and every child is personally looked into. It’s a place where I’ve spent countless hours, forged friendships, and learned valuable lessons. The classrooms echo with memories of laughter, curiosity, and determination. The teachers who guided me, the friends who shared my journey, and the moments that defined my school years flood my mind. Our school will always hold a special place in my heart, and these memories will be cherished forever.
As I reflect on the journey that led me to become the School Head Prefect, I am reminded of the powerful words of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” This quote underscores the essence of our school experience, and it’s our collective responsibility to make the most of it.
Throughout my time at Msgr Mubiligi catholic TSS, I have had the privilege of witnessing the incredible potential within our student body. Each one of us is a future leader, change-maker, and contributor to society. As Head prefect, my goal is to nurture this potential, to inspire, and to lead by example.
It is alway said by one of my beloved teachers Mr. LUZZE JOHN BOSCO SSENTOGO, that “Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge.” This is a principle that I hold dear, and I am committed to being a leader who listens to your concerns, works for your betterment, and creates an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
My belief is that a true leader should first and foremost envision a work environment where the importance of team work is revered. He is the one who needs to instill the fact in team members, that no one is smarter than all of us, that success is not about individual goals but about collective good, that it is amazing how much we can accomplish if we care less about who gets the credit and more about how much we can do when we aim for something bigger than each one of us.
The next benchmark to set is that of novelty, innovation and the materialization of ideas that are envisaged collectively by diverse minds. Such a goal requires firsthand thinking, soul searching, extensive observation of surroundings, the recognition of what is missing and the realization of that one realm where we need to improvise and innovate.
So, I as the Head boy of Msgr. Mubiligi Catholic TSS, will try my best to take my school to the pinnacle. Steven Redhead said, “Be a visionary focused upon your ability to create your desires within your reality,” and I Imena Cyogere Divine Oclave the School , with your support and my commitment, will achieve excellence and create a legacy worth remembering.
